It is with great pleasure that IEEE Region 4 would like to announce the “Big Data Workshop” for its members. The workshop is being co-sponsored by Northwestern University’s Institute for Cellular Engineering Technologies as co-sponsor of the event. The iCET web site is:
http://icet.northwestern.edu/ and is chaired by Dr. Horacio Espinosa.
As Special Events Coordinator for the Region, I have been very attentive to your demands as far as training, workshops and specifically what most of you would like to see happen in the Region. I am listening and I do care. The workshop will provide top level local and international CEOs, PhD Scholar-Practitioners and Data Scientists to provide a truly interactive hands-on workshop.
Some of you may recall last year there was the Smart Grid Workshop that was co-sponsored with IIT Chicago where members had the opportunity to learn from and listen to experts in the industry with a tour of the Smart Grid prototype provided by Fellow Dr. Mohammad Shahidehpour. Again, we listened to your concerns, likes and dislikes and have structured this year’s workshop that is tailored more to the members’ need. Why? Well need I say more…because we care.
I would encourage you to visit the region website at http://ewh.ieee.org/reg/4/ BigData2017.php for more information. Listed below are the details:
