Summary: Cloud backup is a great way to give your company a true DR/Business Continuity solution. The lure behind backing up directly to the cloud is simple — cost effective op-ex spending plan, pay as you go and grow, intuitive dashboard and controls, no on-premises hardware. All of these eye catching pro’s could lead you to forget the most important con when relying solely on backing up to the cloud — RECOVERY. This webinar will show you how to make the right cloud backup decision based on real life scenarios.
This discussion will show you why
— Relying solely on cloud backup could lead to a longer than expected recovery
— Having a predictable DR price regardless of the outage will make your CFO happy
— Having a simple and FAST recovery tool is a must when keeping critical systems online
— Getting backup data into the cloud is easy, however making use of it could be complex and costly

Jason Snook grew up along the ‘not-so-sunny’ coast of Oregon and is proud to be a native Oregonian. After chasing dreams in the Air Force he found a passion for technology and problem solving that lead him from coast to coast. 20 years later he’s happy to call Oregon home once again. His desire to excel in Information Technology began as a young system administrator working towards replacing IBM mainframes with the new and very ‘reliable’ Windows systems. 15 years later he finds himself with a background that started in Systems, led him towards Network Engineering, then onto Security and finally back to Systems. He has had the joy of leading and guiding an IT Department and working with customers as a solution provider. He’s proud to say his background in Information Technology is broad and he’s always looking for the next technical challenge.
