Title: System Software Engineer

Education:  MS or BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Experience:  3-5 years

 

Required Skills:
1.  Experience with wireless communications systems, digital signal processing and/or communication theory
2.  In-depth programming experience encompassing system implementation

3.  Advanced programming ability in C++, or C. 

4.  Familiarity with VHDL, Java, Visual Basic, and Python a plus.

5.  Ability to implement system communications via Ethernet, Serial, and PCI bus.

Job Description:

Develop systems for military deployment utilizing the latest technology.  Nokomis requires an individual with self-motivation and a desire to be involved with system implementation.  This position will be directly responsible for core algorithm and software development.

Candidate should have MS or BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3-5 years experience.  System software engineer will be responsible for integrating multiple hardware components and optimizing efficiency.  New software and algorithm development will also be necessary.  Mathematical operations to user interface design will be part of the role.

Position will be located in a satellite facility, requiring monthly trip to the main office for consultations.
